
During the winter months Florida hosts polo matches at several venues
throughout the state. Polo is a great spectator
sport and provides plenty of action with fast horse
and daring polo players. Fans participate by
entering the playing field between chukkers and
stomping down the divots left by the horses during
the match.
Wellington Polo 2021
Polo in Florida takes hold every January as high goal polo matches becomes Sunday afternoon's pastime at the
International Polo Club Palm Beach in Wellington, Florida.
The Polo Club at Wellington has been purchased
by Wellington Equestrian Partners that also owns Palm Beach International
Equestrian Center.
The Villages is a huge retirement community in the
north central part of Florida.
Polo has been a mainstay of the Villages' Sundays
for many
years. With its fast pace and daring play, Polo has
become a crowd favorite among residents who often
combine the outing with a pre-match tailgate party.

Spectators are welcome at all Polo matches which
are free except for the Molly's House Charity Match.
Bring a picnic if you are staying for a while, and
well behaved dogs and husbands are also invited.
